By accessing or using the Calethia platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Calethia provides a compliance automation platform that enables organizations to define policies as code, automate evidence collection, and continuously monitor compliance status. The Service includes web-based tools, APIs, and related documentation.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

6. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.
We may change our prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to billing periods starting after the notice period.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Calethia and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
CALETHIA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ANY SPECIFIC REGULATORY FRAMEWORK. THE SERVICE IS A TOOL TO ASSIST WITH COMPLIANCE EFFORTS, NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL LEGAL OR COMPLIANCE ADVICE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALETHIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calethia from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We will provide you with the ability to export your data for 30 days following termination.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
